■Plant vigor is moderate for a triploid seedless watermelon and this cultivar easily sets fruits.
■It develops less lateral shoots after fruit set and rarely has hollow hearts.
■Fruit is round, weighing 6-8kg and has a darkgreen rind with wide stripes.
■Flesh color is bright red.
Flesh is sweet with 13-14% Brix and tastes very delicious.
■This variety is good to be sold as cut watermelon because its texture is firm.
■Fruit contains very tiny empty seeds which can be easily eaten.
■Maturity period ranges from 47-42 days after fruit set if harvested in June-July in Japan.
